The project area is located in one of the most famous squares in Istanbul, where the existing building has become a severe problem for the area's users. The unusable structure currently interrupts the pedestrian flow and detracts from the square's overall appeal. Therefore, a new proposal has been put forth to transform the area into a music and exhibition venue that offers visitors a unique and engaging experience.

The new building proposed for the project area will address the current issues with the existing structure and provide viewing points for the iconic Galata Tower. This addition will undoubtedly increase the area's appeal to tourists and locals and provide a memorable experience for those who visit.

In addition to offering a new perspective on the Galata Tower, the new building will also create a new axis for pedestrians with its permeability. This will
significantly enhance the flow of foot traffic in the area and provide a more welcoming and accessible environment for all visitors.

The music and exhibition venue proposed for the project area will undoubtedly become a new hub of activity in Istanbul, attracting locals and tourists alike with its unique blend of culture, art, and entertainment. The building will also be a welcome addition to the area's rich history and culture, further cementing its status as a must-see destination in the city.

Overall, the proposed music and exhibition venue for the project area in Istanbul will address the current problems with the existing structure and offer a new and exciting experience for visitors. With its viewing points for the Galata Tower, permeability, and vibrant cultural offerings, the new building will undoubtedly become a beloved and iconic destination in the city.
Through my extensive pedestrian studies and analysis of the surrounding urban context, I confidently proposed a bold solution for the project area. The unusable structure impedes pedestrian flow and hinders the site's potential.
By conducting a human circle diagram and analyzing the impact of the terrain's slope and surrounding factors on pedestrian movement, I was able to develop a comprehensive understanding of the site's needs. Using this data, I designed a music and exhibition venue that addresses the practical needs of the project area and responds to the surrounding urban context.
The new building creates a more permeable and dynamic space for people to engage with, offering viewing points for the Galata Tower and creating a new axis for pedestrian movement. By referencing the continuous movement in the region and designing more surfaces for people to interact with, I created a functional structure that is responsive to the needs of the surrounding community.
Overall, my confident and bold approach allowed me to propose a solution that not only improves the immediate project area but also has the potential to impact the surrounding urban context positively.
